Recognition For My Traffic Light

About a year ago, I began one of my toughest projects. I tried to redesign parts of our traffic system. From then to now, the project has helped me grow both as a person and as a creator. This project was an all-in-one for me, including what I like to call the six steps or phases of design and fabrication: Research → Prototyping → Design/CAD → Fabrication → Feedback → Back to the start.
In addition to that, it included software, which required similar steps to the design process. There were definitely times when I felt I couldn’t fix a bug or get past an error. However, in the end, I pulled through and was able to win first place at the 2020 Synopsys Santa Clara Competition.
A year after winning at Synopsys, my city contacted me about recognizing my work and the awards I had earned. Below are some screenshots from the Zoom meeting, and above is the certificate of recognition from my city. To see the meeting, Click Here!
