Recognition For My Traffic Light

About a year ago, I began one of my toughest projects. I tried to redesign parts of our traffic system. From then to now, the project has helped me both grow as a person and as a creator. This project was an all-in-one for me, including what I like to call the 6 steps/phases of design and fabrication: Research -> Prototyping -> Design/CAD -> Fabrication -> Feedback -> Back to the start.

In addition to that, it included software, which required similar steps to the design process. There were definitely times where I felt that I could not fix a bug, or I could not get past an error. However, in the end, I pulled through and was able to win first place at the 2020 Synopsys Santa-Clara Competition. A year after winning at Synopsys, my city contacted me about wanting to recognize me for my work, and the awards that I was able to win.
